CVE-2026-99270
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-7686-ccqp-qmhx ↗EUVD-2026-115811 ↗
description
Linux kernel TCP request-socket timer handling is affected by a use-after-free condition. An attacker may be able to trigger unsafe memory access when TCP socket migration fails while a request-socket timer is being processed. Exploitation requires reaching that failed migration path.
mitigation
Upgrade the Linux package to version 4.2 or later, or apply commit 97c8a3c1f73d828de43a5a88e8a9a143efb2b661 to the maintained kernel branch.
fixed in 97c8a3c1f73d828de43a5a88e8a9a143efb2b661, 4.2
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
source signals
