CVE-2026-99270
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-7686-ccqp-qmhx ↗EUVD-2026-115811 ↗
description
Linux kernel TCP request-socket handling is affected when socket migration fails during hash insertion. A timer associated with a freed replacement request socket may subsequently access released memory; an attacker would need to be able to induce the affected TCP migration failure, and the resulting impact is not established by the evidence.
mitigation
Update the Linux kernel to version 4.2 or a release containing commit 97c8a3c1f73d828de43a5a88e8a9a143efb2b661.
fixed in 97c8a3c1f73d828de43a5a88e8a9a143efb2b661, 4.2
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
