description

Ruijie RG-ES205GC, RG-ES206GC-P, RG-ES208GC, RG-ES210GC-LP, and RG-ES210GS-P devices running the reported ESW_1.0(1)B1P48 firmware are affected by a buffer overflow in the local firmware-upgrade interface. A remote attacker may be able to trigger the flaw; the available evidence does not state whether authentication is required.

mitigation

Restrict network access to the local firmware-upgrade interface to trusted administrative hosts and isolate affected switches from untrusted networks. Monitor Ruijie support channels for a corrected firmware release; no fixed version is recorded.
