CVE-2026-119195
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-9m75-vc3g-4x39 ↗EUVD-2026-113351 ↗
description
pyasn1 through 0.6.4 can use excessive CPU while decoding highly fragmented constructed ASN.1 strings or indefinite-length ANY values. An attacker can cause decoding workers to be tied up when an application accepts attacker-controlled ASN.1 through an affected decoder path without adequate resource limits.
mitigation
Upgrade pyasn1 to version 0.6.5 or later. Until upgraded, limit the size and processing resources of untrusted ASN.1 input.
fixed in 0.6.5
outcome
Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
