description

Session Smart Router versions prior to 7.0.5, 7.1.7, or 7.2.3 contain an integer-overflow flaw in DPI certificate processing. An unauthenticated remote attacker may disrupt service when the scanner handles a crafted TLS server certificate.

mitigation

Upgrade Session Smart Router to 7.0.5, 7.1.7, or 7.2.3, as appropriate for the deployed release branch. Restrict exposure to untrusted TLS certificate scanning until the upgrade is complete.

fixed in 7.0.5, 7.1.7, 7.2.3
