description

Lemmary versions before 2026.11.6 issue MCP agent tokens that retain the full permissions of the account that generated them. An untrusted integration or attacker that obtains such a token can use non-MCP REST endpoints as that account, including administrative user-management actions when the issuing account is an administrator. Exploitation requires possession of a generated MCP agent token and access to the application's REST interface.

mitigation

Upgrade lemmary to version 2026.11.6 or later. Until upgraded, revoke exposure by disabling MCP token generation and replacing or restricting integrations that hold existing agent tokens.

fixed in 2026.11.6
