ETK-2026-3824Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
openvc-core through version 1.38.0 does not adequately bind W3C credential status lists to the requested identifier and expected status-list types during verification. An attacker controlling the status-list host can substitute another issuer-signed list and cause a revoked credential to be treated as valid; this is not exploitable by a credential holder alone.
mitigation
Upgrade openvc-core to version 1.38.1. Until upgraded, restrict control and access to status-list hosting endpoints and monitor them for unexpected list changes.
fixed in 1.38.1
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
