ETK-2026-3377Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
Authlib versions before 1.9.3 can accept unsafe redirect URIs when registering OIDC web clients. An attacker able to register a client may obtain JavaScript execution in the authorization server's origin after a user authorizes that client, when implicit flow with form-post responses is enabled. Dynamic client registration and the affected OIDC flow must be available for exploitation.
mitigation
Upgrade Authlib to version 1.9.3 or later. Until upgraded, disable or restrict dynamic client registration, reject non-HTTP(S) redirect URIs, and disable implicit flow or form-post responses where possible.
fixed in 1.9.3
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
