ETK-2026-3365Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
tari_engine allows CallFunction to invoke qualifying component methods without enforcing the component's access rules. An unauthenticated transaction sender could invoke a protected method and trigger template-authorized resource operations when a published template exposes such a method.
mitigation
Restrict exposure to vulnerable published templates and avoid relying on template-scoped resource rules to protect externally reachable methods. Review and reject transactions that use CallFunction to target component methods until an upstream fixed release is available.
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
