ETK-2026-3244Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
sqlparse versions before 0.6.1 can consume excessive CPU while formatting specially crafted SQL input. An attacker can cause a denial of service when an application exposes sqlparse.format() or the sqlformat CLI to untrusted input; sqlparse.parse() alone does not traverse the affected path.
mitigation
Upgrade sqlparse to version 0.6.1 or later. Until upgraded, do not format untrusted SQL and apply input-size and execution-time limits to formatting jobs.
fixed in 0.6.1
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
