ETK-2026-3027Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
Incus versions before v7.6.0 may create resources in the unrestricted default project after authorizing a request for a restricted project. An attacker using a restricted project user or certificate with resource-creation permission can bypass project isolation, potentially leading to host compromise or host-file disclosure through affected network or storage-volume creation paths when relevant features.* settings are disabled.
mitigation
Upgrade github.com/lxc/incus/v7/cmd/incusd to >= v7.6.0 or later.
fixed in >= v7.6.0
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
