description

Twisted applications using the twisted.web HTTP/2 server are affected. An unauthenticated remote client can consume server CPU and deny service by abusing stream resets, provided the client can reach an HTTP/2 endpoint.

mitigation

Upgrade Twisted to version 26.10.0rc1 or later. Until upgraded, disable HTTP/2 or restrict access to exposed HTTP/2 endpoints.

fixed in 26.10.0rc1
