description

graphql-ruby applications using GraphQL::Execution::Next may render objects whose authorization checks reject access. An attacker able to request affected objects could receive data that application authorization logic intended to withhold.

mitigation

Upgrade the graphql gem to version 2.6.14 or later. Review use of GraphQL::Execution::Next and limit exposure to sensitive objects until the upgrade is deployed.

fixed in 2.6.14
