ETK-2026-2762Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
parsedmarc versions before 11.1.0 can consume excessive CPU and memory while parsing aggregate-report XML containing DTD default attributes. An attacker who can send mail to a monitored DMARC report mailbox, or provide a file for parsing, can cause denial of service.
mitigation
Upgrade parsedmarc to version 11.1.0 or later. Until upgraded, accept aggregate-report files only from trusted sources and block inputs containing DTD declarations before they reach parsedmarc.
fixed in 11.1.0
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
