ETK-2026-2503Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.description
SurrealDB versions before 3.3.0 can misclassify certain IPv6 transition addresses while applying outbound network restrictions. An authenticated user able to trigger outbound HTTP requests may reach internal IPv4 services when the host supports the relevant transition-address routing.
mitigation
Upgrade the surrealdb package to version 3.3.0. Until upgraded, restrict untrusted users' ability to initiate outbound HTTP requests and apply egress controls for internal destinations.
fixed in 3.3.0
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
