ETK-2026-2260Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
@happyvertical/smrt-core and @happyvertical/smrt-cli through 0.57.1 can apply permissive interface settings to model subclasses that do not fully declare their own exposure configuration. In affected deployments, a tenant user with MCP access may reach REST or MCP operations that the parent model was intended to restrict, potentially allowing unauthorized changes or deletion. Exploitation requires an affected subclass and access to the relevant tenant interface.
mitigation
Upgrade all @happyvertical/smrt-* packages together, including @happyvertical/smrt-core and @happyvertical/smrt-cli, to 0.57.2. Until then, explicitly restate or tighten the parent model's API, MCP, CLI, and sensitive-data settings on every subclass, then review the generated interfaces.
fixed in 0.57.2
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
