ETK-2026-2212Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
static-web-server can retain stalled, idle, or unread-response connections until its file-descriptor limit is exhausted. An unauthenticated remote client can cause the service to stop accepting normal requests by holding sufficient connections open; deployments are affected with HTTP/1 or HTTP/2, with or without TLS.
mitigation
Upgrade static-web-server to 3.0.0-beta.2 or later. Until upgraded, place the service behind a reverse proxy that enforces client connection and request timeouts.
fixed in 3.0.0-beta.2
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
