ETK-2026-2196Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
Versions of enshrined/svg-sanitize before 1.1.0 can consume excessive CPU while processing SVG reference relationships. An attacker who can submit SVG files for sanitization may tie up PHP workers and reduce service availability.
mitigation
Upgrade enshrined/svg-sanitize to version 1.1.0 or later. Until upgraded, restrict or avoid sanitizing untrusted SVG uploads and enforce processing time limits.
fixed in 1.1.0
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
