description

Broadcom's Wi-Fi Protected Setup implementation on affected routers is vulnerable to remote code execution. An attacker within wireless radio range may be able to run code with root privileges; physical proximity to the target's Wi-Fi signal is required.

mitigation

Disable Wi-Fi Protected Setup where it is not required to remove exposure to the affected feature. Until vendor remediation is identified, limit wireless access to trusted users and keep affected routers off untrusted networks.

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.

source signals

Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
