ETK-2026-191Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
Parse Server deployments using an email adapter for account verification or password recovery are affected. A client with public application keys can trigger an email-related request, and a mail delivery failure may stop the server process.
mitigation
Upgrade the npm parse-server package to 9.10.2-alpha.6 or 8.6.97, as appropriate for your release line. Until upgrading, wrap email-sending handlers to catch and log failures, including configured verification-email handling.
fixed in 9.10.2-alpha.6, 8.6.97
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
