ETK-2026-1130Zero's internal tracking ID, independent of the CVE number.
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.description
Parse Server deployments using a custom authentication adapter that subclasses AuthAdapter are affected. An unauthenticated attacker may impersonate users or create or link provider identities because the adapter's validation callbacks can be skipped; built-in and plain-object adapters are not affected.
mitigation
Upgrade the parse-server package to 8.6.102 or 9.10.5-alpha.2, as appropriate for your release line. Until upgrading, use a plain-object adapter or move validation into an overridden validateAuthData method that does not depend on adapter instance state.
fixed in 9.10.5-alpha.2, 8.6.102
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
