description

Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce versions through 10.8.0 mishandle guest checkout data in a database update operation. An unauthenticated remote attacker may read or alter database-backed WordPress metadata, potentially including account privileges, when the plugin is active and guest checkout input is reachable.

mitigation

Deactivate and remove Abandoned Cart Pro for WooCommerce from publicly reachable WordPress sites until the vendor provides a corrected release. Restrict public access to checkout functionality as an interim exposure reduction if immediate removal is not possible.
