CVE-2026-97397
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-h5ch-qpr6-2h3j ↗EUVD-2026-116884 ↗
description
Remove Google Fonts for WordPress versions through 1.7 can retain unsafe comment content and render it in affected pages. An unauthenticated attacker may cause browser-side code to run for visitors after a malicious comment is published, when the plugin's Remove mode is enabled.
mitigation
Disable the plugin's Remove mode until a vendor-corrected release is confirmed. Require moderation for comments and review pending comments before publication.
outcome
Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
