description
PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry versions before 11.17.11 can follow redirects from user-supplied media URLs without sufficiently checking their destinations. An authenticated user with Contributor privileges or higher may cause the WordPress server to request internal services.
mitigation
Upgrade PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry to version 11.17.11 or later. Restrict Contributor and higher roles to trusted users until the update is applied.
fixed in 11.17.11
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
