description

OpenStack Mistral v2 write operations can act on resources owned by a different project. An authenticated project member may alter or remove the public availability of another project's action definitions or environments; a project administrator may also trigger cross-project resource reassignment through a name collision. Only deployments that expose the Mistral API are affected.

mitigation

Upgrade Mistral to 20.1.1, 21.0.1, or 22.0.1, as appropriate for the deployed release line. Until upgraded, restrict Mistral API access to trusted networks and users.

fixed in 20.1.1, 21.0.1, 22.0.1
