description

AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages through version 1.1.17 can retain unsafe shortcode-derived content in AMP pages. An attacker may cause browser script to run for people viewing affected pages; the described path relies on placing shortcode content through a Subscriber-level profile biography.

mitigation

Disable the plugin where untrusted or lower-privileged users can edit profile biographies or other shortcode-bearing content. Restrict those users from creating such content until the vendor provides and you can deploy a patched release.
