description

The WordPress weDevs ERP plugin through version 1.17.10 can retain unsafe content supplied through inbound email handling. An unauthenticated attacker who can obtain or emulate a CRM outbound email may cause browser-executed content to be stored and later run when another user views the affected page.

mitigation

Disable inbound email routing or processing if it is not required, and restrict access to CRM content created through that path. Upgrade to a vendor release newer than 1.17.10 after confirming that it addresses this issue.

Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
