description

Presto Player for WordPress versions through 4.5.1 mishandle player-related markup submitted in comments. An unauthenticated attacker may cause script to run in the browser of someone viewing an affected page after a malicious comment is approved, including through repeat-commenter auto-approval.

mitigation

Disable comments on pages that render Presto Player content, or require manual approval for every comment and disable repeat-commenter auto-approval. Update the plugin when the vendor provides a release confirmed to address versions through 4.5.1.
