description

AI Engine for WordPress versions through 3.8.0 are affected by stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker may cause attacker-controlled script to be stored and run when an administrator views the plugin's dashboard content. Exposure requires access to the plugin's unauthenticated REST functionality and an administrator opening the affected dashboard view.

mitigation

Disable the plugin on affected sites until the vendor provides a verified fixed release. If it must remain enabled, block unauthenticated access to its REST endpoint at a reverse proxy or web application firewall and limit administrator dashboard access.
