description

Zombify versions through 1.7.7 are affected by insufficient restrictions on uploaded file types. An attacker who can use the affected upload functionality may upload server-executable content, potentially leading to server compromise.

mitigation

Restrict access to file-upload functionality and enforce server-side allowlisting of safe file types; store uploads outside executable web paths. No fixed version is recorded; monitor for an upstream update and upgrade when one is released.

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
