description

NetX Duo deployments using the Web add-on HTTP server are affected when processing PUT requests. An unauthenticated remote client can trigger unsafe memory handling with a malformed request that causes a Content-Length underflow.

mitigation

Restrict unauthenticated access to the Web HTTP server and disable PUT support where it is not required. Monitor Eclipse ThreadX security updates and upgrade to a vendor-recommended release when one is published.

fixed in 6.5.2.202603
