description

Camelia through version 1.2.15 is affected by unsafe processing of serialized data. An attacker who can cause the application to handle untrusted serialized input may inject objects; the reachable impact depends on the application's configuration and code.

mitigation

Prevent untrusted parties from supplying serialized data, disable or restrict any interfaces that process it, and limit access to affected installations. Monitor for a vendor update and upgrade promptly when a fixed Camelia version is released; no fixed version is recorded.

outcome

Contextual check: a technique exists and was validated, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
