description

Fireware OS is affected by a stack-based buffer overflow in its SIP proxy. A remote unauthenticated attacker could execute code if they can send requests through a policy that uses the SIP proxy.

mitigation

Upgrade Fireware OS to version 2026.4, 12.12.4, or 12.5.22. Until upgraded, restrict exposure to policies that use the SIP proxy.

fixed in 2026.4, 12.12.4, 12.5.22
