description

Smash Balloon Social Post Feed for WordPress through version 4.13.0 improperly handles content from Facebook comments in its administrative feed preview. An attacker able to comment on a connected Facebook Page could cause script to run in an administrator's browser when that administrator opens the preview, potentially enabling unauthorized plugin installation actions.

mitigation

Disable or tightly restrict comments on Facebook Pages connected to the plugin, and do not open feed-builder previews while exposure remains. Apply a vendor update once a release addressing this issue is available, and review recent plugin-installation activity.
