CVE-2026-93755
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-4vjj-g4g8-7pwg ↗EUVD-2026-119136 ↗
description
Happyforms for WordPress versions through 1.38.9 can retain untrusted client-IP header content and display it unsafely in the submission administration view. An unauthenticated attacker may cause script to run in an administrator's browser when that administrator reviews a submitted form entry; this requires a reachable form and an administrator to open the entry.
mitigation
Disable or restrict public Happyforms submissions until a vendor update that corrects this issue has been verified and deployed. Limit access to the WordPress administration interface and avoid opening untrusted submissions.
outcome
Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
