CVE-2026-93479
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-v72q-v4vf-2mx7 ↗EUVD-2026-101114 ↗
description
NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source are affected when specific map configurations use regular-expression captures before the map result is referenced. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send crafted HTTP requests that restart worker processes; code execution may be possible if ASLR is disabled or can be bypassed.
mitigation
Upgrade NGINX Plus to 37.1.0.1 or 37.0.5.1, or upgrade NGINX Open Source to 1.31.7 or 1.30.6. Until upgraded, avoid affected regex map configurations and keep ASLR enabled.
fixed in 37.1.0.1, 37.0.5.1, *, 1.31.7, 1.30.6
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
