description

Imager versions before 1.036 can terminate the host process while reading a malformed TGA image. An attacker can cause a denial of service if an application accepts and processes untrusted image files with Imager.

mitigation

Upgrade Imager to version 1.036 or later. Until upgraded, prevent untrusted TGA files from reaching Imager's image reader.

fixed in 1.036
