CVE-2026-92975

description
Groundhogg for WordPress is affected through version 4.8.3 by a flaw in its support-account handling. An attacker able to establish an account matching the expected support identity can gain administrator privileges after an administrator invokes the support-access workflow; multisite deployments may also be affected at the network level.
mitigation
Disable or tightly restrict the support-access workflow and prevent untrusted account creation where possible. Audit accounts and elevated roles for unauthorized support-identity matches, remove suspicious accounts, and apply a vendor update when a fixed release is published.
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
