CVE-2026-92693
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-jmjw-392h-4g93 ↗EUVD-2026-117871 ↗
description
FastNetMon 1.2.9 and earlier mishandle IPv6 Fragment headers while parsing sFlow v5 RAW_PACKET_HEADER records. An unauthenticated remote attacker able to supply crafted sFlow packet-header data may trigger an out-of-bounds read; the advisory does not establish a production process crash.
mitigation
Restrict sFlow input to trusted, authenticated network sources and filter untrusted sFlow traffic before it reaches FastNetMon. Monitor for a vendor release that fixes this issue; no fixed version is recorded.
outcome
Contextual, not validated: no deterministic check could cover this one, and no technique passed our review.
source signals
Public signals that triggered or updated the pipeline. These are inputs for the deltas above.
