CVE-2026-92681
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-8xj4-8gg9-fx9h ↗EUVD-2026-97487 ↗
description
@neo4j/graphql versions through 7.6.3 may not enforce schema-level or Query/Mutation-level authentication on top-level fields using @cypher. An unauthenticated caller may invoke those fields and execute their configured database operation with the GraphQL service account's privileges when an application relies on those higher-level directives for protection.
mitigation
Upgrade @neo4j/graphql to version 7.6.4 or later. Until upgraded, apply authentication directives directly to every top-level @cypher field and restrict public access to the GraphQL endpoint.
fixed in 7.6.4
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
