description

BugTracker.NET attachment handling can permit dangerous uploaded files when attachment storage is configured in a web-accessible location. An authenticated administrator could use this condition to run code on the server with the web service account's privileges.

mitigation

Configure attachment storage outside web-accessible directories and restrict administrator access to trusted users. Limit accepted attachment types and review existing upload and storage settings for exposed files.
