CVE-2026-92287
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-3xf4-85xv-wmpw ↗EUVD-2026-104836 ↗
description
Apache C++ Parquet and PyArrow versions 4.0.0 through 25.0.1 can forward a KMS URL from a Parquet file to a configured KMS client without validating its host. An attacker may cause a KMS token to be sent to an attacker-controlled host when a target reads a file using decryption settings that allow the file to control the KMS URL.
mitigation
Upgrade to version 26.0.0, where file-controlled KMS URLs are disabled by default. Otherwise, configure the KMS URL in KmsConnectionConfig and ensure KmsClient implementations validate KMS URL hosts.
fixed in 26.0.0
outcome
No artifact: an exploit or check was attempted but could not be produced at this moment.
