description

Quest Foglight for Databases improperly handles external entities during XML processing in its getSource functionality. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach that interface may cause server-side requests and obtain information accessible to the application.

mitigation

No corrected release is identified in the supplied evidence. Restrict access to the getSource XML-processing interface to trusted networks or users, and limit outbound network access from the application until a vendor update can be applied.
