description
MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin versions before 3.7.55 have an authorization flaw in student enrolment handling. An authenticated user assigned the Instructor role may modify name and display-name fields of other site accounts, which can support account impersonation or phishing. Exploitation requires an Instructor-role account.
mitigation
Update MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin to version 3.7.55 or later. Restrict assignment of the Instructor role until all affected sites are upgraded.
fixed in 3.7.55
