description

YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards for WordPress before version 4.38.1 can process concurrent redemptions without safely coordinating balance changes. An attacker with a valid gift-card code may cause purchases to exceed the card’s available value by redeeming it simultaneously.

mitigation

Upgrade YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards to version 4.38.1 or later. Until upgraded, restrict access to gift-card codes and monitor for unusually concurrent redemptions.

fixed in 4.38.1
