CVE-2026-88799
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-r545-v5rq-j469 ↗EUVD-2026-117968 ↗
description
MDJM Event Management and Mobile Events Manager WordPress plugins through 1.7.8.7 inadequately authorize client profile updates. An authenticated user, including a low-privilege account, may change another user's email address and password, potentially taking over that account.
mitigation
Restrict or disable access to the plugins' client-profile update functionality and limit untrusted authenticated accounts. Deploy a vendor release newer than 1.7.8.7 when one is available.
outcome
Upstream: a detection for this already ships elsewhere, so we didn't generate a new one. The credit goes to whoever did.
