description

MariaDB Server versions affected by the advisory have a use-after-free in SYS_REFCURSOR handling. A low-privileged attacker able to use routines with SYS_REFCURSOR may trigger the flaw by causing cursor-array reallocation; the advisory states that code execution requires another vulnerability.

mitigation

Upgrade unnamed to 12.3.3, 13.0.2 or later.

fixed in 12.3.3, 13.0.2
