description

MariaDB Server releases from 10.6.1 up to the applicable patched release contain an out-of-bounds write in ST_AsText processing of deeply nested GeometryCollections. A remote low-privileged user who can submit GIS objects may corrupt server memory and may be able to achieve code execution when combined with another vulnerability.

mitigation

Upgrade unnamed to 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, 13.0.2 or later.

fixed in 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, 13.0.2
