CVE-2026-85719
waiting for further signalsZero needs more public information before it can validate it.GHSA-x5w6-vm3f-pp6f ↗EUVD-2026-81904 ↗
description
AsyncHttpClient versions 2.1.0 through 2.16.0 and 3.x through 3.0.11 can disclose SOCKS proxy credentials to an origin server. An attacker controlling or operating a contacted origin may obtain those credentials when the application uses an authenticated SOCKS proxy.
mitigation
Upgrade 2.x deployments to 2.16.1. Upgrade 3.x deployments to 3.0.13, which includes this fix and an additional security correction; until upgraded, do not configure authentication on SOCKS proxies.
fixed in 3.0.12, 2.16.1
outcome
Contextual: an exploit technique exists, but no deterministic check could cover this one.
