CVE-2026-85679
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-xx9f-33qf-3g5j ↗EUVD-2026-90500 ↗
description
Extendify for WordPress versions through 3.1.6 can store attacker-supplied script in global style content because a block-style field is not safely handled. An unauthenticated remote attacker may cause script to run in another visitor's browser when that visitor views affected content; exposure requires the vulnerable plugin and reachable global-styles REST handling.
mitigation
Disable Extendify until a vendor-supported update is available, or restrict unauthenticated access to the WordPress global-styles REST endpoints at the web server or WAF. Review affected pages and global style data for unauthorized changes before re-enabling the plugin.
outcome
Check only, differential: the check fires on the vulnerable build and is silent on the patched one.
